I started this site because I've become enamored with small cameras and the amazing images I see coming from them. Small camera's are liberating and once shooting with a small camera is mastered, you can get shots you can't get with a larger camera. Continued technology improvements are making small cameras more capable and as a result, we are on the cusp of a small camera revolution.
No DSLRs is a site dedicated to serious small cameras and related gear. Some of the entries are my experiences with some specific gear but the heart of No DSLRs is to be a portal to the world of serious and small cameras and gear.
So just what is a serious a small camera? Well...Anything smaller than a single lens reflex camera. Think point & shoot, micro 4/3rds, or even the little iphone camera. The Panasonic G1 is by definition a small camera, but generally speaking serious small cameras are smaller than that.
Who am I? I'm a bike guy that likes to travel the world and tell stories with my camera. I'm not a pro so please don't expect me to be one. Check out my other website Gnat Likes which is dedicated to bikes, photography and adventure.
